Cheers to the month of February! It was a month full of celebration and dedication of love. The Chinese New Year, valentine, weddings, birthdays and the 10th anniversary of KK city Hall all celebrated in February. It was indeed one of the busiest and the noisiest month ever! The sky are lighted almost every nite with fireworks, drum beat of the Lion/Dragon and the Unicorn dance as they dances away all day long. Come what may, whole hearted we join in the celebration, young and old, regardless of race and religion. We are united in the celebrations of love and prosperity. Through it all, food will always be the centre of the event. There's abundance of food,cakes,cookies and candies in every corner. As if the hurricane of food had arrived at last.
Yeah i have my fair share in the preparation of cakes during the festivities. Oh yes, this is surely a month to remember. I discovered yet another episode with my miracle angels. They surrounded me when i soo desperately needed them. As the story goes, I was awarded to bake a cake for the 10th anniversary celebration for KK City Hall. Excited? I was actually scared to death. What was i thinking? To mentally design a cake was easy and to materialise it on the real cake was another thing. Did i ever say i never regret my decision to be a baker? Well i lied!
As the delivery date drew closer, i was in a jammed. I wish i was somewhere else. I am sooo in a panic state and there i am turning to the Almighty for help. The Lord must have glimpse the terror look on my face and the state im in coz he grant me my wish! I got it!! My miracle angels came one by one to assist me with the packing,baking & decorating the cupcakes and transporting it to the hotel. Whilst i did the main cake and just getting all bits and pieces together. We completed the task and deliver the 25kg of Carrot Walnut Cheese cakes and 1000 cupcakes right on time.
At last a sigh of relief. Needless to say i couldn't have done this without all my angels and am forever thankful to them( my sisters, nephews and nieces, and friends). I am also grateful for being awarded this project and opportunity to create the anniversary cake and the person who believes in me. Most of all i thank God for his blessing. Having said it all, would i take another mission like this, yes i CERTAINLY will. It sure keeps the Adrenalin pumping!(lOl).
